Drawing from her background in elementary education, Ashley brings a unique perspective to her work, valuing simplicity and clarity in communication to ensure her designs are accessible to all users.

Ashley's journey in the design world began with a transition from teaching to embrace her love for problem-solving and technology. Currently, she thrives as a UX Designer at Elsevier, specializing in their Nursing Health Education sector. In this role, she excels at crafting intuitive reporting dashboards that empower nursing educators and students with actionable insights, facilitating a smoother learning journey.

Her drive to face new challenges has led Ashley to leave her mark on diverse projects. At Freedom Mortgage, she enhanced their authenticated customer portal, elevating the user experience for clients navigating financial processes. Additionally, she interned with Schoolio Learning, Inc., where she dedicated herself to redesigning their landing page and shopping experience, contributing to a more engaging and productive platform for homeschooling families.

Ashley's unwavering commitment to learning shines through in her design process. She embraces a holistic approach, diligently conducting user research, analyzing data, and continuously iterating to ensure her solutions cater to evolving user needs and preferences.

With an impressive track record of transforming user experiences across various industries, Ashley stands as a true driving force in the UX design community. Ashley received her certification in UX/UI Design from Springboard.  Additionally, she holds a masters in elementary education from Wilmington University, and a bachelors in organizational leadership from University of Delaware.

In her spare time, Ashley enjoys wellness, personal development, travel, being social and has recently been expanding her Spanish skills on Duolingo.
